Non-destructive dodging and burning continued

Make sure you are familiar with creating a 50% grey layer [see article 03/02/2010].

Zoom in to the area needing repair work and then select the gradiant tool ensuring it is set Black to Transparent with the radial gradient tool selected.

With the above selected and making sure the foreground is set to black and background to white, use your mouse to draw small lines [very small] in the area you wish to darken [hold down left button and move mouse].

Switching the forground to white and using the same technique lightens areas instead of darkening them.
